2019 is almost coming to an end, it’s Christmas day 2019. First of all I wish everyone a very happy Christmas and happy holidays.

As part of starting a new year and a new decade, I decided to start something that I believe is going to help people in a meaningful way.

As a doctor one thing that I get to see more often nowadays is the increasing number of people with diabetes non communicable diseases.

Most of these diseases are not fully curable but they are definitely preventable if we do one thing. Change our dietary pattern.

Our dietary patterns have changed drastically in the last decade or two, and we are eating things that we should not be eating on a regular basis. If we continue to do so in the future more and more people are going to get diabetes and complications that goes along with it.

It’s not just diabetes, but people with diabetes and the associated complications add large cost to government. That money can be spent on people with other diseases if people can prevent diabetes.

What is Grub It!!

So I’m starting the Grub It!! blog that you can access from https://gogrubit.com

Grub It blog will tell you about evidence based dietary advices for you to live a healthy life.

It is also going to talk about bio hacking on how to use the help of technology to manage your diet.

We are also going to discuss about healthy recipes for people to prepare and try out.

There is a myth amongst people that healthy living is expensive and not something practical for normal people.

But we will show that is not the case and healthy diet and healthy living can be practiced by anyone.

Also the current food blogs are not helping the cause because almost all of them are promoting places that are not serving healthy diet.

Who will benefit from Grub It

Grub It is not just going to help people living with diabetes but everyone who wants to live a healthy life.

So join the cause of promoting healthy living and healthy diet in the country and lets make sure we are helping people to prevent these non communicable diseases as much as we can.

Grub It is not just going to be my personal blog, but I plan on taking ideas from nutritionists and doctors to give you up-to-date information with minimal scientific jargon as possible so anyone can understand even without any medical background.

I hope you will enjoy reading Grub It as much as I enjoy writing it.
