I know how you feel. I was on Medium since it was an invitation-only platform. It took me more than 100 posts and 3 years on me to get a ‘hit’ on Medium. Most of my posts were read just over 100 or just below 100 and got only a few reactions.

My 100th post was a hit and I got more than 100k reads, and that was beyond my wildest dreams. But since then I am again looking for a similar hit.

One problem with Medium is Discoverability because unless someone sees your post on social media, or the Medium home feed it is difficult for them to find a story unlike typing a domain name on a web browser. Coming to the Medium home page is like virtually impossible at the moment.

If you are a good writer and people remember your URL then it is easier to find your blog on the internet than on Medium.

It is never easy to be a good writer and to make people read your posts, no matter what platform you use. But I am also feeling the Medium fatigue just like you are describing.
