I guess Sri Lankans are being more open about LGBT and I think people will even be more open in future.

I guess people still think it’s a crime to be LGBT or something mentally abnormal. But being LGBT is a choice of that person and we should respect their decision. It’s not something harmful to the society, it’s just another form of sexual orientation like being male or female.

We as people look at things according to how we’re brought up, and humans like to neglect or refuse things out of norm. For thousands of years religions and society looked at being LGBT as sin and it will take many more years for society to accept LGBT as a community.
